My Personal Review

To be completely honest, I am a big fan of all natural products usually sold at Sprouts or other health-conscious stores, and I tend to steer away from a big name company like Bath and Body Works. So, this is actually surprising that I am giving this lotion 5 out of 5 ratings, and I’m taking a time out to do a review like this.

I’ve used other lotions with essential oils in them before, which were supposed to be for relaxation and stress relief. However, I have to be honest. They would smell good for a few seconds, but it was nothing really significant other than smelling pleasant. With this Bath and Body Works aromatherapy lotion, the fragrance is much more powerful and I can actually feel the difference immediately. When I was working a fast-paced job in a stressful environment, I used to keep this lotion right on my desk. Every time I come back to my desk after a bathroom break, I would use it and it helps me reset myself. Believe it or not, this lotion actually became popular among my co-workers because it smelled so good and relaxing. Soon, another co-worker found a hand sanitizer version of this and started sharing with others, and we were much less stressed then. I actually liked the fragrance so much, and I was also way beyond stressed at the time that I even got myself a body wash version of it. (Yes, I sure did… )

For me, the smell of Eucalyptus has a nice refreshing calming effect on my mind and Spearmint follows to add a little bit of kick to keep me alert. It’s a very pleasant mixture of essential oils that anybody can enjoy and benefit from. The lotion itself is also very moisturizing, and just one use keeps me hydrated for hours on. With the job I used to have, I had to wash my hands so often between patients, but I enjoyed it because I got to use this lotion and clear my mood before working onto the next patient.

Pros and Cons

  • Noticeably relaxing and calming compared to other brands
  • Non-sticky
  • Nourishing and hydrating
  • Affordable
  • Comes in a variety of forms such as hand sanitizer, body wash, massaging oil, etc.

    • Addicting !!

If you’re overly stressed at work or school and need a little something to either treat yourself or your loved one, this lotion will make the perfect gift for you. Of course, this lotion is great just for keeping your skin moist and looking radiant, but it really stands out by distressing your overworked mind by adding a nice little ritual to your daily routine. Although Lavender essential oil seems to be the go-to for most people, I actually had a better experience with Eucalyptus oil when it comes to reducing my stress levels. So, if you have tried many Lavender fragrance lotions with no success, I encourage you to maybe try Eucalyptus like this one. Let me know in the comment section below what your favorite lotion for stress relief is, and if you also have a lotion in mind that you would like me to do a review on, please don’t hesitate to leave me a comment.
